Welcome to MyRoadWise (“MyRoadWise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of myroadwise.com (the “Site”) and the content, features, and services available through it. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About This Site

MyRoadWise is an informational website that publishes educational content for drivers in the United States, including content about driving safety, defensive driving, traffic tickets, driver licensing, car insurance, and related products and services.

2. Informational Content Only — Not Professional Advice

All content on this Site is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.

  • Not legal advice. Articles discussing traffic tickets, points systems, license suspension, court procedures, traffic laws, or related topics provide general information only and do not constitute legal advice. Laws, court rules, procedures, and available options vary by state and locality and may depend on the specific facts of your situation. For advice about your circumstances, consult a licensed attorney in the appropriate jurisdiction.
  • Not insurance, financial, or other professional advice. Content about car insurance, premiums, costs, discounts, savings strategies, or related financial matters is general information only. Consult an appropriately licensed insurance agent, financial professional, or other qualified professional before making decisions based on your individual circumstances.
  • Not a substitute for official sources. Always verify current requirements, deadlines, fees, eligibility rules, procedures, and other important information with the relevant court, state agency, Department of Motor Vehicles or equivalent agency, insurer, or other authoritative source before acting.

Laws, regulations, court rules, agency policies, fees, deadlines, eligibility requirements, insurance practices, and administrative procedures may vary by jurisdiction and may change after content is published or updated. A publication or update date does not guarantee that all information remains current as of the date you access it.

We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate information, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of any content on the Site. You are responsible for independently verifying information relevant to your circumstances before making legal, financial, insurance, or other important decisions.

Your use of the Site does not create an attorney-client, insurer-client, financial advisory, or other professional relationship between you and MyRoadWise or any of its owners, authors, or contributors.

3. Affiliate Links and Advertising

The Site may participate in affiliate marketing programs and may display advertising.

  • Some links on the Site may be affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase or sign up for a product or service, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
  • We may display third-party advertisements, including advertisements served by Google AdSense or other advertising providers.

We aim to make editorial decisions independently of affiliate compensation. However, we may receive compensation from some companies, products, or services mentioned on the Site. When required or appropriate, we provide additional disclosures near relevant content or links.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, products, and services, including government agencies, courts, course providers, insurers, retailers, and other resources. These links are provided for convenience and informational purposes.

We do not control third-party websites or services and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, security, privacy practices, terms, products, services, or business practices. The inclusion of a link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.

Your use of a third-party website or service is subject to that third party’s own terms and policies. Any transaction or relationship you enter into with a third party is solely between you and that third party.
